Day 290: October 17, 2011
I was given 2 months to go to traffic school (for a really stupid ticket, I might add)... and guess when I decided to START the process? Yeah- tonight. Thank God for online traffic school. The whole thing took me about 2 1/2 hours and I learned nothing- but passed with an 88%. Whew! Now to drop it off tomorrow sometime. But when???

Deacon was VERY brave at this birthday party today... he got to pet/hold a snake (as pictured), a tarantula, a couple lizards, a cockroach and (his favorite)- a tortoise.

Day 288: October 15, 2011
I only took 3 pictures today at the Harvest Faire- granted, I was in charge, so I was a touch busy... but I still feel kind of bad that I didn't take more. But this picture is pretty fitting- it's Deacon throwing a ball at the dunk tank with Mr. Pena sitting in it. The kids LOVED the dunk tank- Deacon had a blast and was really close to getting Mr. Pena dunked, too!
