We're at the point where we try very hard to only let him have his paci at bedtime or long car trips... but occasionally he'll find one and try to hide it from us- but the hiding part doesn't last long... he's addicted.

Deacon came home with a mouth full of canker sores... poor thing is miserable.  But thanks to facebook- I had a bunch of friends suggest some remedies- including a gross tasting mouth wash... you know Deacon *really* doesn't feel good when he's willing to do a gross medicine.

Meet "Baby Ju"... we originally thought his name was "Baby Jew."  But thankfully we realized that he had named the baby after a little boy in his daycare class- Julian (nn- JuJu).  Whew...
